From the South: Travel NORTH on I-75, past the intersection of I-4, to the FOWLER AVENUE exit #265. (formerly exit #54). This exit is also the exit for the University of South Florida. Bear left on the exit ramp, and it will lead you directly onto Fowler Avenue. Proceed west on Fowler Avenue to McKinley Drive. (McKinley Drive is the first light past the main entrance to the University.) Turn left on McKinley. Proceed south on McKinley to parking and the main entrance to the park.

HCC’s largest campus is located at Dale Mabry Highway and Tampa Bay Blvd., across the street from Raymond James Stadium. The campus specializes in health sciences and technology and offers the required courses for both the Associate in Arts and the Associate in Science degrees. A wide variety of continuing education and distance learning courses are also available.
The campus’ four-story, state-of-the-art Technology Building houses the health science and technical programs. Other facilities include the Science, Gymnasium, Humanities, Library and Student Services Buildings.
The campus is also home to a tennis and racquetball facility.

This park is made up of approximately 132 acres of Florida wildlife, offering an enjoyable view. If it isn’t the land that sparks your interest, it will be the ponds. There are two ponds that fall within the boundaries of the park. The northern pond offers fishing, and some have said that the fishing is what sets Al Lopez Park aside from other parks.
